Last Friday in 'Head Drawing' we did some variations on style while listening to four different style versions of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."  The four musical styles were jazz, pop, rock and techno.  Can you tell which is which?

The second part of this assignment was to draw for head from a movie.  For the movie I chose David Lynch's 1984 "Dune" and the drawing below is my favorite of the four.

'Situation & Environment' - Week 10

This week continued the painting from last Wednesday and I spent most of today making sure my edges are soft and blended.  I still have one more week to work on it so make sure to check back to see the finished piece!

When in the midst of a long (painting) project, it feels really good finish a smaller piece and Zentangles are perfect for giving me a sense of completion.  I hope you enjoy my latest creation below!

'Narrative Illustration' - Assignment #4 (Final)

For class tomorrow I finished the 'Ugly Duckling' Judo ad illustration in color using a combination of water color, ink and color pencil.
