'Narrative Illustration' - Assignment #1 (Version 2)

The final task for 'Narrative Illustration' was to re-do any project from the semester to improve.  I chose to revisit the first assignment to illustrate a cliche and found better reference for the donkey.  I also changed mediums and completed the following piece in water color and color pencil rather than acrylic and oil paints.

'Narrative Illustration' - Cliches

The first assignment for 'Narrative Illustration' this semester has been to sketch illustrations for three cliches of our choice.  Two of my three are shown below...any guesses?
