This study was completed in 3-4 hours last night. I discovered that painting a patterned object was more fun than I thought it would be and am on the hunt for a patterned subject for a new still-life painting!
Pattern is such a useful means of describing form. Especially for those of us (*ahem*...me) who pay no mind to highlight, midtone, core-shadow, shadow, reflected light. :) - ST
