Throwback Thursday with Chicken Turkey!

I made this sculpture of a turkey for a project to create a chimera.   It is composed entirely of 'chicken' things, including ground chicken, chicken cold-cuts, eggs, vienna sausages and chicken bouillon.

SF Botanical Garden

It's a beautiful day in SF today so I went to the SF Botanical Garden and painted this small sketch. 

Painted using my Charvin travel palette in a Moleskine watercolor sketchbook.
